Welcoming guests and extending hospitality has long been a vital ministry of Conception Abbey.

Nestled in the rolling hills of northwest Missouri, the Conception Abbey Guest Center welcomes guests to encounter Jesus Christ in our monastic liturgy and beautiful surroundings. Many guests experience Christ's peace through the monastery's liturgical prayer, through the celebration of the Sacraments, and personal prayer.

The grounds and environment of Conception Abbey provide ample space to walk and enjoy our rural setting.  Conception Abbey's beautiful setting and the Benedictine tradition provide an ideal environment for our directed retreats and spending days in silence, prayer and reflection.
