Conception Abbey: 150 Years of Tradition

“So that in all things God may be glorified.” – Rule of St. Benedict

Conception Abbey is a Benedictine monastery located in northwest Missouri where all we do is dedicated to the glory of God as St. Benedict instructs in his Rule. For 150 years now, we have existed to praise God in our daily cycle of prayer and work, welcome guests, educate future priests, and share the Gospel. Learn more about our 2023 sesquicentennial anniversary.

Online Spiritual Journey

The Benedictine Monks of Conception Abbey invite you to join our Online Spiritual Journey as we prayerfully read the daily Mass readings. Together we hope to achieve a deeper sense of prayer, be moved towards penance, and discover the peace that only comes from Christ. Sign up at the link below to receive daily email reflections written by our monks.
