Sacred Reading

I have always enjoyed making movies.  I am in the process of creating a series of informative videos about monastic life, which should attract the interest of anyone who wants to learn more about the Benedictine tradition, or may be considering a monastic vocation.

This video focuses on the monastic practice of lectio divina, which is reading the Scriptures in a reflective and prayerful manner.  I am open to receiving your feedback or any other monastic related videos that you would find helpful: monks@conception.edu

This video may be especially helpful for those caught up in the hectic commercialism of the Holiday season and are in need of quiet, prayerful, and reflective time to get in touch with God and prepare yourself properly for the Coming of Christ at Christmas.
