Retreat Week

Each year the monastic community retreat is normally scheduled during the week after Seminary Graduation.  This year, because of the move and renovation, we moved it back a couple weeks so that we could get settled.

This year, our Retreat Master is Msgr. Kevin Irwin.  Msgr. Irwin is a priest of the Archdiocese of New York and served as the Dean of the School of Theology and Religious Studies at The Catholic University of America. He holds the Walter J. Schmitz, Chair of Liturgical Studies.

Msgr. Irwin is the author of sixteen books on liturgy and sacraments, including Liturgy, Prayer and Spirituality (1984), Liturgical Theology: A Primer (1990),Context and Text: Method in Liturgical Theology (1994), the three volume commentary on the liturgical seasons entitled, Advent-Christmas, Lent and Easter: A Guide to Eucharist and Hours (1985-91), and Responses to 101 Questions on the Mass (1999, revised 2012).
