Retreat: The Mass as the Perfect Sacrifice

Fr. Albert Bruecken, O.S.B. will guide this retreat weekend in looking at the Jewish notion of sacrifice leading up to the time of Christ to understand how the sacrifice of Christ “completes and surpasses all other sacrifices” (CCC 614). By exploring the depths of meaning contained in the phrase, “the sacrifice of the Mass,” you should come away better able to participate in this most precious gift of our faith.
