Conception Abbey is a Benedictine community of men who are seeking holiness in their lives. Following the Rule of St. Benedict, we have a balance of prayer and work, gathering five times a day to chant the Divine Office, and to celebrate Mass daily. We are looking for joyful men who desire a deeper relationship with Christ and wish to share in the blessings of community life.

In any exploration of the monastic vocation the first task is to pray. A monk’s life is a life of prayer and it is only through prayer that a person will discern the call to monastic life.
