Abbot Gregory Polan conducted a retreat for the Benedictine sisters of Immaculate Heart of Mary Monastery in Westfield, Vt., a cloistered community belonging to the Solesmes Congregation.

Abbot Gregory’s article, “Literary Creativity in the Book of Wisdom,” was published in the November-December issue of The Bible Today.

Brother Frowin Reed accompanied students from the St. Lawrence Catholic Campus Center at the University of Kansas on a retreat to
the Rocky Mountains over Labor Day weekend.

Brother Frowin and Brother Elias Zaczkiewicz attended a Vocation Day at Stuebenville University in Stuebenville, Ill., Sept. 27.

Over Labor Day Father Albert Bruecken attended the 11th Annual Nature’s Call camping trip for young adults at Lake Pomme de Terre in South Missouri.

Father Albert was also the main speaker at the annual Vocation Awareness Day in Kansas City, Mo.

And he conducted Busy Person Retreats Oct. 6-10 at the University of Kansas, Nov. 3-7 at the University of Missouri, and Nov. 10-14 at Iowa State University. He also helped lead an Awakenings Retreat for the University of Missouri St. Thomas More Center Oct. 11-13. Father Albert attended the Benedictine Vocation Directors’ Workshop Nov. 14-18 in Schuyler, Neb.
