Mt. Michael abbots visit Conception

On December 8, the patronal feast of Conception Abbey, the abbots of Mt. Michael visited for the celebration. Newly elected Abbot Michael Liebl was principal celebrant and homilist– Abbot Gregory and Abbot Michael were classmates at St. John's in Collegeville, Mn.

Mt. Michael Abbey is located in Elkhorn, Ne. in the Archdiocese of Omaha and was founded on June 27, 1956 by monks of Conception Abbey. It was raised to an abbey on October 6, 1964.
