FATHER BENEDICT NEENAN, president-rector of CSC, was a member of the team conducting the Monastic visitation at St. Meinrad Archabbey April 25-29.

Father Benedict, who is president of the organization, and FATHER SAMUEL RUSSELL, CSC dean of students, attended the annual meeting of the National Association of College Seminaries May 31-June 3 at Moreau Seminary at Notre Dame University, Indiana. Father Benedict served on a panel at the meeting.

Seminary chaplain and professor FATHER DAN MERZ, a priest of the Diocese of Jefferson City, was the keynote speaker for "Ministries Day" Jan. 31 at the cathedral in Jefferson City, Mo. The day serves all people throughout the diocese who fulfill ministries during Mass.

Father Merz also led a day of recollection for lay ministers Feb. 28 at Our Lady of Lourdes parish in Columbia, Mo. In April he served as the priest for an Engaged Encounter Weekend in Moberly, and in May spoke at the 6th-grade Vocation Day for the Diocese of Jefferson City.

DR. LANCE RICHEY, a member of Conception Seminary College class of 1991, has accepted the position of associate professor of religious studies at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wis. Dr. Richey has taught philosophy, theology and Greek at CSC for the past four years.
