Abbey offers guide to praying rosary
 ou
will find inserted in this issue of Tower Topics (for those receiving
Tower Topics through the mail) a complimentary copy of “The Holy Rosary:
Mysteries and Meditations,” a guide to praying the rosary.
Pope John Paul II has consistently promoted the rosary as an important
devotion of the Church, most recently in his eloquent document Rosarium
Virginis. In keeping with Conception Abbey’s mission of spreading the
word of God through the written word, we are happy to follow the Holy
Father’s lead by making available this accessible and attractive worship
aid.
The cover of “The Holy Rosary” features the image of the Immaculate
Conception from the apse of our Basilica of the Immaculate Conception.
Inside you will find the prayers of the rosary – Apostles’ Creed, Glory
be to the Father, Lord’s Prayer, Hail Mary, and Salve Regina.

Also included is a scriptural reflection on each of the 20 mysteries of
the rosary – Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious, and Pope John Paul II’s new
“Luminous Mysteries.”
“The Holy Rosary” has proven popular as a worship aid in parishes, as a
catechetical tool in Catholic Schools, and simply as a guide to a deeper
personal prayer life.
Additional copies of the “Holy Rosary” are available for a suggested
donation of 50 cents per copy to help cover production and mailing
costs. To place an order, send your request with a check or money order
to the Office of Development, Conception Abbey, P.O. Box 501,
Conception, MO 64433. [Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.]
