Buy a Printery House card; help your parish or school

uying a greeting card from the Printery House at Conception Abbey could end up helping your parish.

Roy Haas - director of sales and marketingThe Printery House’s Affiliate Fundraiser Program will allow parishes and schools to raise money without effort or risk, said Roy Haas, director of sales and marketing. He explains how the program works: A parish or school adds a special Printery House link to its Web site.

A percentage of all resulting sales will go directly to the parish or school. The rest will help support Conception’s mission as a training ground for future priests and as a spiritual center for thousands of guests, retreatants and pilgrims.

An example: if a parish of 2,000 families places the link on its Web site and 10 percent of those families make a purchase, based on the Printery House’s average order, the parish earns $500.

“These parishioners are going to buy religious greeting cards and gifts anyway,” Haas noted, “so why not buy them from us and support their own parish and our seminary and the young men preparing for the priesthood. It truly is a win-win opportunity.”
