Brother Thomas Sullivan has published a book, Parisian Licentiates in Theology, A.D. 1373-1500; Vol. I, The Religious Orders.

Dr. Lance Richey, professor of philosophy, in November presented the paper “Neither Jew nor Roman: The Double Alienation of the Johannine Community and its Sectarian Implications” to the Johannine Literature Section of the Society of Biblical Literature in Atlanta.

Father Dan Merz, seminary professor and chaplain, has published a review of the Il celebrante, fedele o presidente: Dinamiche personali e partecipazione (“The Celebrant, Presider or Faithful: Personal Dynamics and Participation”) for the journal Worship, a book on psychology and liturgy by Giuseppe Sovernigo. On Jan. 23 he was the keynote speaker for the annual "Ministries Day" for liturgical ministers at St. Joseph Cathedral in Jefferson City, Mo.

Father Merz will also lead a day of recollection Feb. 28 for the liturgical ministers at Our Lady of Lourdes parish in Columbia, Mo.
