Rev. Joseph C. Meisburger (C60-62;T62-66) died Dec. 20, 2002, in Independence, Mo.

Helen Ann Murphy, mother of Patrick Murphy (C81-84), died July 6, 2002, in Springfield, Mo.

Ted H. Pandorf (C38-41) died March 3, 2002.

James Reichert, brother of Rev. Kenneth Reichert, OSB (H48-51;C51-56; T56-60), died Dec. 3, 2002, in Columbia, Mo.

James Rost Sr., father of Rev. Robert Rost (C66-70), died Oct. 25, 2002, in Savannah, Mo. Rev. Rost’s mother, Marie Rost, died Jan. 8, 2003.

Lucille Sheley, mother of Fr. John (Bill) Sheley (C64-68;T68-72), died January 21, 2003 in Dexter, Mo.

Rev. Francis (Frank) Schepers (T50-55) died Oct. 19, 2002, in Olathe, Kan.

Stephen H. Sherwood (C62-64) died Oct. 21, 2002, at his home in Overland Park, Kan.

Rev. Wilfred Spenner (C66-68) died Nov. 8, 2002.

Francis Stetz, father of Rev. Allan Stetz, OSB (H53-56;C57-62;T62-66), died Nov. 16, 2002, in St. Edward, Neb.

William A. Turner, father of Rev. Paul Turner (C71-75), died Nov. 19, 2002, in Kansas City, Mo.

Alfred Urban, father of Rev. Reginald Urban (C68-72), died Sept. 17, 2002, in LaCrosse, Kan.

Assignments
Rev. Steve Cook (C87-89,91-93), was appointed associate vocation director and Keith Jiron (PT91-93) was appointed vocation coordinator for the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph.

Rev. R. Michael Fitzpatrick (C66-68), pastor of St. Stanislaus parish, Omaha, was appointed delegate to the archbishop for retired priests of the archdiocese.

Rev. James M. Williams (C89-92) was appointed vocation director for the Diocese of Colorado Springs. He is also pastor of St. Joseph parish.

Varia
Kenneth Nnaka (C91-95) was married December 28, 2002, in Nigeria. He graduated from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law and then received a diploma in comparative law at Oxford University. He is a principle partner of the law firm Nnaka & Associated in Houston, Tex.
