Formation staff changes
- Father Daniel Petsche, who has served CSC in many capacities, most notably as chaplain and dean of students in the mid-80s to mid-90s, has returned to the abbey as prior and Director of Planned Giving, and also as spiritual director in the seminary.
- Father Albert Bruecken continues as Professor of Science and Mathematics, and also assumes the position as chaplain to the junior class.
- Father Patrick Caveglia continues as Professor of Theology and takes on the role of Director of Apostolic Program, in addition to his important position as Director of the Abbey Guest Center.
- In addition to his many responsibilities, Brother Justin Hernandez is now also Director of Textbook Services.
- Brother Jonathan Clark, longtime director of Student Health Services, now joins us as Chaplain to the Pre-Theology students and Director of Student Activities.
- Father Benedict Neenan is now Seminary Business Manager, and continues as Professor of Theology and Director of Deacon Formation Program.
- Father Frowin Reed, was ordained a priest this past May 19th, returns to CSC as Director of Seminary Liturgy, Professor of Theology and Academic Advisor.
- Brother Elias Zaczkiewicz continues as Professor of Theology and Chaplain to the sophomore class, and begins as Instructor in English as a Second Language.
- Brother David Wilding becomes Associate Director of Seminary Liturgy (Music).
- Two new adjunct spiritual directors, Fr. Mauricio Garzon of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas and Fr. Charles Rowe of the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph.
- Dr. John Bloomingdale is on sabbatical this semester, and CSC is happy to welcome Dr. Paul Johnson back from his sabbatical.
